Level Up Your Gaming at Villa Maria
A new addition to Villa Maria’s robust student life program, esports provides current and prospective students with the opportunity to play video games competitively at the collegiate level.
Over the past few years, the sport has grown rapidly and students from all different majors and backgrounds are now joining forces to compete against esports teams from other colleges. We’re looking for competitive and enthusiastic student gamers of all experience levels to join our scholarship esports team. Villa’s inclusive community is a place that fosters creativity and leads students to realize their full potential. With the help of our esports scholarship, and other generous financial aid opportunities, Villa is where your college education can be affordable and within reach.

By offering scholarship esports, Villa Maria joins the ranks among hundreds of other colleges and universities. The Villa Vikings have already formed the following esports teams: Apex, Fortnite, 英雄联盟, 看守, 火箭联盟, 和Smash Brothers. Approximately 25 students have joined the esports team, and this is just the beginning for the league both in Western New York and at Villa.
